Greenchoice, ABN Amro and Windunie invest in wind farm De Veenwieken

Greenchoice, Windunie and the ABN Amro Energy Transition Fund have together taken a 100% share in the De Wieken BV’, the project company for the development of the 14.1 MW onshore wind farm Windpark De Veenwieken.

The wind farm will be built in the province of Overijssel, between Ommen, Dedemsvaart and Hardenberg will consist of 10 wind turbines. De Wieken BV is responsible for the development of six of the ten turbines. Raedthuys Pure Energie is responsible for the remaining four. The turbines are provided by Enercon. Construction work is to start in the second half of 2019. The wind farm is planned to produce the first energy at the end of 2019. Once fully operational the wind farm will annually provide green energy to around 10,000 households. Triodos Bank will provide the financing.
