This week, Vattenfall received the first wind turbine components for the Wieringermeer Wind Farm. In total, 82 wind turbines from Nordex, type N117/3600, will be installed.
The components, 3 blades with a length of 58.5 m each and 2 of the 5 tower sections, arrived on the site at the Oosterterpweg in Wieringerwerf.
For the past few months construction activities took place on the foundations, roads, crane hardstands and cables. The wind farm is planned to be completed by the end of this year. Source: Windparkwieringermeer.nl
