Acta Centaurus assigned for Borssele III and IV

Acta Marine’s latest fleet addition, the DP2 Walk to Work vessel Acta Centaurus, will be deployed at the 731.5 MW Borssele III and IV offshore wind farm. The company signed a Charter Party with MHI Vestas Offshore Wind during the Wind Europe Offshore exhibition in Copenhagen last month.

Acta Centaurus will assist MHI Vestas Offshore Wind with the commission of the 77 V164 9.5 megawatt turbines produced by MHI Vestas from Q2-2020 till Q4-2020 / Q1-2021. The vessel will be based in the port of Flushing, The Netherlands.

It is the second project with MHI Vestas Offshore Wind. The Acta Centaurus previously supported MHI Vestas on the German Deutsche Bucht offshore wind farm. This was also the maiden project for Acta Centaurus upon her delivery from the yard.
