Blix Consultancy opens Taiwanese office for Asia-Pacific offshore wind activities

BLIX Consultancy has opened an office in Taipei, Taiwan. The new office will be used to coordinate the activities in the offshore wind market in the Asia-Pacific region. 

Maarten Timmerman, one of the founders of BLIX Consultancy, will head the office as director of BLIX Asia. He is the balance-of Plant package manager for the Taiwanese 1044 MW Hai Long offshore wind project.

Willemijn van der Werf will also be based in the new office. As director Business Development BLIX Asia, she will oversee the new acquired assignements in South-Korea, Japan and Taiwan.

Since its founding in 2009, BLIX Consultancy has helped realise 20 GW of wind energy and 80 MWp of solar energy. Managing director Albert van der Hem coordinates the European and American markets in the area of onshore wind, solar energy and strategy portfolio while Roeland Steenhuis has been appointed managing director for the offshore wind portfolio.
