Bluestream received a contract to inspect above water support structures in the Gemini Offshore Wind Farm which has been operational since 2017. The contract follows an earlier contract for subsea inspection works, the company said.

Bluestream’s scope of works includes a full complement of management and inspection services. It will also provide a walk-to-work vessel from Chevalier Floatels BV for transport of the company’s personnel to the offshore structures. The activities will take place this summer.

The 600 MW Gemini Offshore Wind Farm is located around 85 km off the north coast of the Netherlands and comprises 150 Siemens Gamesa 4 MW wind turbines. It is a project by four companies: Northland Power (60%), Siemens (20%), HVC (10%) and ALTE LEIPZIGER/HALLESCHE (10%).
