Aratis, advisors in procurement, contract management and process management services, will carry out the complete construction management of the wind project Windplanblauw, which consists of a nearshore and onshore part. The company has signed an agreement with the developers Vattenfall and SwifterwinT.
Windplanblauw concerns a repowering project that will consist of 37 wind turbines on land (SwifterwinT) and 24 wind turbines in the IJsselmeer (Vattenfall), a 33-150kV substation and a 150kV export cable.
Aratis has been involved in development of the project since 2018. The company is responsible for the tender and has also prepared the tender documentation, based on Systems Engineering. The company has used its own software for this, reports Aratis.
Financial close was recently reached for the onshore part, the SwifterwinT op Land wind farm. The tender has not yet been completed for the nearshore part. Aratis will finalize these and deliver signable contracts.
The final designs of the project are being prepared and contractors have already started preparing the construction works. The construction period will take approximately two and a half years.
