Offshore Wind Innovators is organising the 4th edition of Innovation Award, an annual competition for the most innovative SME company in offshore wind. Interested parties can apply till 15 February, 2021. The winners of the audience award and the jury award will be announced on March 30, 2021 during TKI Wind op Zee Live event.
The Offshore Wind Innovation Award is a recognition of the Dutch innovative power of the offshore wind sector. The award is intended for Dutch SME entrepreneurs of Offshore Wind Innovators and consists of a jury prize and a public prize. The application deadline is 15 February, 2021.
Jury and public award
A jury, consisting of representatives from the offshore wind industry, the financial sector and the research and development sector, will select 3 nominees from all submissions. The jury review the entries on motivation, innovativeness, economic and social contribution (cost-effectiveness and overall sustainability), feasibility and applicability and entrepreneurship.
These finalists will pitch their innovation on 30 March 2021 during the TKI Wind op Zee Live. After the presentation, the audience will decide who will receive the public award. Separately, the jury will announce who will win the jury prize. In addition to creating awareness for the top of the offshore wind industry, the finalists can count on the necessary publicity before and after the award ceremony.
Winners of previous editions
The Innovation Award is being organized for the fourth time. Previous winners are MO4 and Seaqualize (2019), Fistuca (2019) and Jules Dock and ECE Offshore (2017).
