WIND opens new office in Taiwan

WIND, a Dutch services company, has opened a new office in Taichung, Taiwan.

The company has been operating in Taiwan since October 2020, when it first opened a 2000 m2 yard for storing offshore cables in the Taichung port area, and it has now expanded its presence with the opening of a new office.

The new office in Taichung will serve as the operational hub for Taiwan’s growing number of offshore wind projects.

“With our new Taichung office close to the port area, we can react rapidly to the needs of our customers. From here, we can efficiently organize and mobilize the movement of cables, as well as manage the outdoor and indoor storage areas and the careful handling of cables,” said Patrick Schelvis, Director Asia Pacific – WIND.
