Walk-to-work equipment manufactured by SMST has been installed aboard the Norside Cetus at the Fjellstrand shipyard in Norway.
Last Friday, SMST shipped the gangway, access, and cargo tower to Norside Cetus. In just two days, the installation was finished on the vessel.
Norside Cetus is a former PSV being transformed into a walk-to-work vessel for the offshore wind industry. Once completed, the vessel will serve Norside Wind. Norside acquired the vessel from Ulstein. The vessel’s accommodation will be increased from 22 to 60 people following the upgrade, and a new accommodation module, as well as a battery package, a gangway, and cranes, will be added.
