Voltiq, a Dutch financial advisory boutique, and Amsterdam Capital Partners (AMSCAP), a venture capital firm, have merged.
The two corporations entered a cooperation in November 2021 and have since then extensively cooperated on mandates in renewable energies.
M&A, stock raising, debt financing, financial asset management, project development, and tender consulting are just some of the financial advisory services offered by the amalgamated firm. The company’s headquarters will be in Amsterdam, and it will also have locations in Madrid, Singapore, and Colombia under the brand name Voltiq. After the merger, the business could offer products and services across the board for the renewable energy and energy transition industries.
For example, the global pension fund heavyweights APG and OMERS are planning to acquire the Dutch energy transition platform Groendus, while the Canadian pension fund CDPQ has invested in the Greater Changhua 1 offshore wind project in Taiwan.
