Hollandse Kust (noord) platform sails away

TenneT’s platform for Hollandse Kust (noord) sailed away last week.

The platform is currently moving toward Egmond aan Zee in the Dutch North Sea, according to EQUANS. EQUANS has been chosen to deliver the components for the Hollandse Kust (noord) wind farm project along with Smulders’ subsidiary Iemants.

The Hollandse Kust (noord) platform jacket was installed in November 2021. The offshore station will be finished in 2023 and prepared to deliver the renewable wind energy into the onshore grid after the platform installation.

In July 2020, CrossWind, a partnership between Shell and Eneco, was awarded the rights to build the 759 MW Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm. 69 Siemens Gamesa SG 11.0-200 DD 11 MW wind turbines will be part of the wind farm.
