The first cable container has arrived at Dutch WIND’s US facility, a full-service solutions provider for the transport, handling, and storage of subsea cables.
Recently sent from the Netherlands, the first container containing cable transfer and cable lay equipment has now arrived at the WIND yard in Providence, Rhode Island, USA.
The remaining equipment has been transported, the company stated, and WIND is prepared for the initial load-outs in January 2023.
WIND stated in a statement that “next year will bring more projects for us in the US, a market that we anticipate increasing from strength to strength.”
