Van Oord, as the Balance of Plant contractor, has contracted SeaMar to deploy guard vessels during the construction and commissioning of the Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm project.
The guard vessels are present within the 125 km2 total surface area of the Hollandse Kust Noord wind farm and are keeping close contact with the coast guard and project teams to secure the construction site.
If required, the guard vessels will assist the emergency response teams and take an active part in any required emergency situation. With their excellent sea keeping performances, the guard vessels can support the construction works which are taking place 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. The installation and commissioning of the wind farm is expected to be completed in the second half of 2023.
