Seajacks Scylla and Seajacks Kraken getting ready for new offshore wind work

The Seajacks Scylla and Seajacks Kraken have arrived in the Netherlands to get ready for their new offshore wind duties.

Seajacks Scylla is preparing for the installation of turbines at the offshore wind farm Hollandse Kust Noord, according to Dutch DHSS, the logistical provider of a wide range of services for the offshore energy industry. Seajacks Scylla is preparing in the Port of Amsterdam.

All foundations have been built, and wind turbine installation will soon follow, at the 759 MW Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm, owned by a joint venture between Shell and Eneco.

Seajacks Kraken landed to the Port of Den Helder to demobilize from an oil and gas campaign and to get ready for an offshore wind project. Along with helping with port logistics for cargo and crew, the DHSS team also aids in the customs clearance of equipment and vessels.
