Mammoet has been successful in winning contracts for two significant offshore wind energy projects in the United States.
For two sizable offshore wind projects in the United States that both start in 2023, projects for unnamed clients will include a range of onshore scopes.
According to the company’s statement on social media, the two contracts together cover a variety of port scopes, including the loading, unloading, handling, and short-term storage of XXL monopiles as well as the pre-assembly of turbines in a US marshalling port.
In the American market, Mammoet has a lengthy history and presence. Mammoet has over a dozen local locations, more than 30 years of expertise in the US, and about 800 US employees.
