Dutch offshore wind consultancy services provider IX Renewables BV and Jee Limited, a UK onshore and offshore engineering consultancy and training provider, have agreed to work together on the development of a series of offshore wind projects, including floating wind farms.
IX Renewables, with over 15 years of experience in due diligence, permit management and as a technical advisor, will set up and manage the developments.
Jee will provide engineering services throughout the lifespan of the projects, including conceptual, FEED and project management services.
With this combination of skills, the parties will play to their strengths and have committed to a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship. This intention is recorded in a signed Memorandum of Understanding, which is initially, but not exclusively, aimed at the Taiwanese market.
