LiftWerx, a member of the Dutch Meemaken Group of companies, performed its first gearbox installation with their newest GenHook™ crane system, marking its market launch.
The up-tower crane technology was used to install a gearbox for a General Electric wind turbine at a project in Canada.
The crane system is a combination of the Heli-Hook™ and GenHook™ crane technologies and represents seven generations of crane innovations and product improvements in only five years.
With no winches or crane equipment on the ground, the sophisticated yet simple device is a testament of the tireless pursuit of continuous improvement by LiftWerx and the related companies of the MeeMaken Group, including Eager.One, and KenzFigee.
