Financial advisory organisation Yellow Hive will acquire the insurance portfolio of Dutch insurance company INTRAMAR from 1 October 2023. This involves highly specialised insurance solutions for the international offshore oil, gas and wind energy sector.
The acquisition offers the fast-growing Yellow Hive a unique fulfilment of its ambition to be a top player in diverse niche markets, such as the offshore oil, gas and wind energy sector, transport & logistics, mobility and media & events. In addition to the acquisition of INTRAMAR, Yellow Hive acquired other successful niche players earlier this year, including Maesstad, De Kilometerverzekering.nl and No Risk.
Specialist in energy, at sea and on land
INTRAMAR (Den Helder) has been active in insurances for onshore and offshore energy companies and maritime agencies for 30 years. Due to the complexity of the sector and the specific risks involved, it is necessary to provide tailor-made insurances for each project and client that seamlessly matches their specific needs. This requires highly specialised expertise and insurance solutions. INTRAMAR’s insurance portfolio includes cover for liability, material, equipment, marine, transport, accident and self-employed risks.
According to Nico de Wit, director of INTRAMAR, the step is taken due to the absence of natural succession.
