Amersfoort, the Netherlands, based independent, multi-brand wind turbine services group, Full Circle Wind Services, has signed a long-term, O&M contract with Zephyrus Green Energy with the assistance of GreenCat Renewables, for the Strathallan Wind Farm Project in the Perthshire, Scotland.
The contract covers full-scope scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and 24/7 remote monitoring for four Enercon E-70 turbines with a total capacity of 9.2 MW.
The Strathallan Wind Farm Project is a newly constructed site consisting of wind turbines that were decommissioned in the Netherlands and re-installed and commissioned, following refurbishment, by Business in Wind. Given the challenges in new installations in onshore wind in the UK, it is becoming increasingly important to find innovative ways to deliver and maintain new onshore wind generation.
Following completion of site commissioning, Full Circle will commence services in May 2024.
