Ecoways secures Wind Energy Solutions restart through acquisition

Wind Energy Solutions (WES), the Dutch company known for its two-blade small wind turbines, announced yesterday that it has been acquired by Ecoways since June.

The acquisition enables Wind Energy Solutions to make a restart after having been declared bankrupt earlier this year. The company continues under the same name for now, but is now “powered by Ecoways”. Its office is now based in Alkmaar.

Ecoways supports companies in the transition to sustainable business. The company has expertise in solar panels, wind energy, energy storage, charging stations, energy management systems and energy contracts. The company offers a one-stop shop for companies to generate and store their own energy. For example as a response to grid congestion.

“Our expert energy directors investigate which solutions best fit your organization’s sustainability issue. With the acquisition of WES, we are expanding our wind energy services even further. From now on, you can also purchase a wind turbine through us. This ensures energy security and energy independence. Something that is becoming increasingly important in these times of grid congestion.” Ecoways reports on LinkedIn. Image: WES wind turbines in the province of Noord-Holland ©BGF
