CORROSION partners with Haili Wind Power for wind farm protection in China

CORROSION, the Dutch specialist in active cathodic protection solutions, announced that it has entered a strategic partnership with Chinese offshore component manufacturer Haili Wind Power to jointly support the Chinese market in effectively protecting wind farms from corrosion.

This collaboration also marks Haili Wind Power’s first step toward establishing a robust supply chain for European wind farms. As part of this initiative, CORROSION will play an active role in protecting the first 300 monopiles delivered by Haili Wind Power.

Both companies bring extensive industry experience and expertise. Founded in 2009 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 2021, Haili Wind Power brings nearly 15 years of experience in offshore component manufacturing and holds a prominent position in the wind energy industry. To meet global demands, Haili operates more than 10 production facilities across Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces, with an annual production capacity of 1,500,000 tonnes, targeted to reach 2,000,000 tonnes by 2025. The company’s manufacturing capabilities include parts with an outer diameter of up to 15 meters, and it leverages port resources for worldwide distribution. The major products covers Tower, Monopile, Jacket, Booster station and floating foundations manufacture.

CORROSION, established in 1993 in Moerkapelle, Netherlands, has been providing innovative, sustainable, and state-of-the-art active cathodic protection solutions for offshore wind farm, maritime vessels, and onshore applications.
