Draftec, a Dutch engineering and manufacturing company for the heavy industries, recently announced the launch of their latest Linear Cable Engines.
These heavy-duty track cable engines or tensioners are engineered to handle pull forces up to 20 metric tons and cable speeds up to 1,500 meters per hour.
According to the company, these tensioners provide exceptional precision, seamless platform integration, and fully automated cable handling for the (offshore wind) cable industry and are designed and verified according DNV design rules.
