Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) has recently published the 24-month metocean datasets for the IJmuiden Ver and Nederwiek Wind Farm Zones. More reports are expected at the end of this year and start of next year, RVO says in its latest update on the site characterisation studies for the two Wind Farm Zones.
The metocean campaigns for both zones ended in April and May 2024 respectively. Each dataset includes 24 months of on-site measured data from the metocean campaigns and the final report for the relevant zone.
The Geological Ground Models (GGMs) for IJmuiden Ver Sites Gamma-A and -B and Nederwiek Sites I-A and I-B are still scheduled to be published at the end of 2024.
For IJmuiden Ver Sites Gamma-A and -B, the Seafloor Sampling Locations Report & In Situ Test Locations Report, with accompanying digital data, have been published.
More reports at the end of the year and in 2025
The same reports and data for Nederwiek Sites I-A and I-B are scheduled to be published at the end of 2024. Also expected at the end of this year is a complete borehole report for IJmuiden Ver Sites Gamma-A and -B. In the context of the tight tender schedule, RVO has decided to publish an interim borehole report for Nederwiek Sites I-A and I-B and the end of this year. This report will contain a partial dataset but is not certified yet. Certification is expected early 2025.
As a result of the delays, RVO will publish several interim Ground Model deliverables for IJmuiden Ver Sites Gamma-A and -B and Nederwiek Sites I-A and I-B. Publication is expected in Q1 2025. Exact timelines for the interim Geotechnical Interpretation Report (GIR) and Integrated Ground Model (IGM) and the final certified geotechnical reports will be published as soon as possible.
