GBM Works secures first close of €6 million seed funding round for Vibrojet® monopile silent installation technique

GBM Works, developer of the Vibrojet® innovative Silent Installation Technology for offshore wind monopile installation has successfully closed the first close of its €6 million seed funding round.

GBM Works closed the first close of its €6 million seed funding round with potential oversubscription up to €7.5 million. This funding will accelerate the development and commercialization of the Vibrojet® technology, a silent and sustainable solution for offshore wind monopile installation.

The Vibrojet® not only enhances efficiency but also significantly reduces underwater noise, protecting marine ecosystems while ensuring compliance with stricter environmental regulations.

GBM Works’ investor consortium comprises Rotterdamse Havendraken, Katapult Ocean, European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), and our existing shareholders, for supporting our mission to revolutionize offshore wind installation.

GBM Works announced earlier this year that it has been awarded a contract by Ecowende to demonstrate the Vibrojet® technology to install monopiles in three selected locations in the Hollandse Kust West VI offshore wind farm. Source: GBM Works
