Additional features:The tender process for HKW lot VI was groundbreaking, as applications were assessed on their contribution to the ecology of the North Sea. Some of the ecological features/measurements include:
– GBM Works’ innovative noise reducing technology Vibrojet® will be used for installing 3 monopiles,
– Waardenburg Ecology and Ecowende are developing a comprehensive ecological programme
– monitoring programme for flying birds and bats by Robin Radar Systems, MIDO and DHI
– HUB Ocean’s Ocean Data Platform to make ecology data publicly accessible
